You can customize your website by changing your the accent colors via color palettes. Your color palette can subtly change the feel of your website.

The colors in a palette include a primary color, secondary color, and 3 accent colors. They are preset to complement one another without clashing based on their shade and brightness.

To change your color palette, go to the Style tab in left sidebar of the website editor.

Then, click on the section labeled Color.

The Color section will expand to show the full list of color palettes.

Each palette is named after the original theme it was created for.

Each color palette contains:

  • Primary Color:  Color of font for First Name in header
  • Secondary Color:  Color of font for Surname in header and subheadings in text body
  • Accent Color #1:  Color of the background element behind the main page headers
  • Accent Color #2:  Color of the font for the main page headers and for the social media icons
  • Accent Color #3:  Color of the background element behind the social media icons

While most color palettes can be used with any theme, due to the font colors, some will only work on light or dark themes. If your background is dark, choose a color palette with a lighter primary color.

Your current color palette is highlighted in Red.

To test out different color palettes, click on the new palette to select it.

The preview screen will automatically update to show the palette on your website.

To cancel the change, click the red Cancel button at the bottom of the editor. This will revert all changes made since the previous Save.

To keep the new font palette, click the blue Save button.

This will cause a popup box to appear. Briefly describe your changes and click OK.

A confirmation popup will appear. Click OK again.

Your color palette change will publish to your website.
