In your sidebar, there are buttons for both Custom Pages and Landing Pages. These are two distinct page types with different uses.

What is a Custom Page?

A custom page is simply a blank page that matches that layout of your standard About page so you can fill it with any content you need.

With a custom page, you can create pages like:

  • School & Library Visits
  • Booking Workshops
  • List of Published Articles, Essays, and Poems

What is a Landing Page?

A landing page is a standalone webpage that is created specifically for selling a particular product. You'll typically used it for big-ticket or occasional sales, where you want the visitor focused on a single opportunity known as a call-to-action.

A good example of this is selling tickets to a conference. On a landing page, you have the full page to explain the conference and get visitors excited about signing up.

This is why the navigation menu is hidden on landing pages. Any additional buttons on a landing page are opportunities to distract the visitor from your main goal.
